TheOmni Oklahoma City Hotelis seeking an engagingSummer Pool Conciergeto be stationed near our pool. This team member will be responsible for monitoring and providing assistance to guests on the 3rd floor rooftop pool and CatBird Seat pool bar area. As a member of our guest services team, this person will regulate entry into the pool and cabana area, ensure all rules and regulations from the pool are being followed, and guests have memorable experiences. Responsibilities
To ensure pool guests are registered guests via hotel reservations, ResortPass, or other hotel approved functions.
Ensure count of guests at the Pool and Pool Bar are accurate and does not exceed maximum restrictions per local ordinances and fire codes.
Check guest into pool area, informing of policies in place and rejecting any necessary objects and items from entering the pool area.
Is courteous, tactful, and helpful, but firm in enforcing pool policies and procedures.
Ensure pool area is maintained, clean, and tidy by partnering with Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Security teams.
Interact with other departments to ensure that guests needs are satisfied.
Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner making them feel welcome to the hotel and pool.
Ensures maximum guest, associates, and hotel safety and security at all times.
Accept other special duties as required by management.
Works closely with Security and Front Desk, keeping them informed of significant observations or events.
Qualifications
Able to lift at least 50 pounds and walk or stand for an entire shift.
Must be able to multi-task and be comfortable in high stress environments while remaining professional and curteous.
Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with guests an fellow associates.
At least 6 months experience in guest service related position preferably in hotels or security.
Able to become certified in basic CPR and First Aid strongly preferred.
Okay to work in various weather conditions: extreme heat, cold, rain, sun, etc.
Must be comfortable in and around pools.
Must live within 50 miles of the hotel
